Priest Murdered After Hostages Were Held in French Church

The five people were said to have been a priest, two nuns and two worshippers. French media claimed that one of the hostages managed to escape and was able to raise the alarm to outsiders, with a French interior ministry spokesman stating that one of the hostages was also in a critical condition.Anti-terrorism judges were given the case to investigate, says the Paris prosecutor’s office.The tragedy occurred as France maintain their high alert status just two weeks after a Tunisian male purposely killed 84 people and injured more than 300 by bulldozing a truck through a crowd of people celebrating Bastille Day – an attack claimed by Islamic State. read more
